StartaTheatreCompany.com is presented by host Sinead Mac Manus.
Sinead has worked for a wide range of performing arts companies including physical theatre company Frantic Assembly, children’s theatre company Tall Stories, and street theatre company Mimbre. She has consulted and provided training for organisations as diverse as the Independent Street Arts Network, London Metropolitan University, CreativeCapital and the Anne Peaker Centre for Arts in Criminal Justice.
She is currently a freelance creative business consultant and trainer and has many years of experience working with and training creative entrepreneurs. She also runs a social business 8fold which helps busy people work better using the web and social media. She blogs on simplicity, digital technologies and productivity in business at her blog From Apps to Zen and is the author of the free ebook From Apps to Zen: 26+ Ideas for Building a Business with Balance.
Her interest in e-learning was sparked during a role at University of Greenwich working on the Upstart programme for creative businesses. Her activity in developing new business models around the idea of e-learning for creative entrepreneurs using web 2.0 tools and social media, led her to be chosen in 2009 as one of the Courvoisier: Future 500 to watch.
